Paterson Fire Leaves 13 Homeless
Thirteen people are homeless after a fast-moving fire roared through a multifamily home in northern New Jersey.
It’s not yet clear what sparked the fire at the three-story home in Paterson, which broke out around 3 a.m. Tuesday. But no injuries were reported in the blaze.
The fire also damaged a neighboring home that was vacant. But authorities say firefighters prevented the blaze from spreading to a third home.
The two homes suffered major damage, but it was not known Tuesday if the residences would have to be demolished.
