The weekend turned out even better than expected.

All of the rain was over with by daybreak Saturday morning, and Saturday turned out to be a mix of clouds and sun.  It was a very nice day.

And Sunday was about the same.  We had temperatures no better than the lower 80s; 82-84 for Newark to Atlantic City.  It was cooler near the beach and boardwalk with a wind off the water.

Now, temperatures today will be in the upper 80s, possibly near 90.  It will be cooler at the beaches.  But there will be the risk of a shower or thunderstorm, especially later this morning and early this afternoon in Central and Northern New Jersey, and later today in Southern and Coastal counties.

There will be the risk of a passing shower, or even a thunderstorm this evening or the first part of the night.  And then, we should be okay after that.

Looking at tomorrow, guidance temperatures are conflicting.  Low to middle 90s is in one set of information, and upper 90s at the other.  I think upper 90s may be a little bit high, but certainly in the middle 90s away from the ocean will be the forecast high for tomorrow.  It should probably and hopefully be rain-free.
