Dog Reunited With Owners - A dog that was thrown from a moving car on the Parkway is showing signs of improvement this morning. Lima, female terrier mix was tossed near exit 116 in Holmdel around noon on Saturday then hit by another car. A state trooper rushed the dog to a vet. We know this morning the dog was stolen from her home in Keansburg just hours before she was thrown from the car. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the driver.

Farmers Market Horror - A wild horriffic scene at a farmers market in north Jersey. One person was killed when a man drove his pick-up truck into the market Sunday, as vendors were preparing to close for the day. The driver is in custody but charges hadn't been filed late Sunday. Hawthorne Mayor Richard Goldberg says several people were hit.

Cease-Fire Holds - A new cease-fire is allowing for the resumption of talks on a long-term truce between Israelis and Hamas in Gaza. Israel says the truce is holding today, and no rockets have been fired at Israel. Several weeks of violence has killed more than 1,900 Palestinians and 67 people on the Israeli side, all but three of them soldiers.

 

Driver Beaten Following Accident - In Lakewood, several people savagely beat the driver of an SUV who had just struck and killed a woman on Route 88. The woman was trying to cross the highway when she was hit and police say when the SUV stopped the woman's brother and several other people attacked the 26-year old driver. He had to be airlifted to the hospital but his condition is not known.

Drag Racing Fatality - It looks like drag racing killed a teenager in north Jersey this weekend and left another in the hospital. 17-year old Joshua Sanchez told police the driver of another car cut him off in Jersey City and he raced ahead to try and catch him. But witnesses say the two cars were drag racing. That's when the car crashed.killing the passenger, 18-year old Josue Romero.

Co-worker Annoyances - Do you use a speakerphone at work, eat spicy food or keep your desk messy? It turns out you may be annoyng your co-workers without even realizing it.

Stuck between the boards - Just how a Pennsylvania woman got her leg wedged int the boardwalk at Berkely Island Park remains unclear this morning. The gap between the boards was about four inches. But her leg slid all the way down to the knee. A nail punctured her leg making it swell and extraction that much more difficult. She had been crabbing near the pier when she slipped. It took almost 90-minutes to get her free.

Drowning Victim Dies - A New Hampshire woman who was pulled from the water off Atlantic City last week and revived at the scene has died. The 59-year old was taken off life support last night. There were no lifeguards on duty when the woman got pulled out by a powerful rip current.

A Night of Violence - More violence down the shore, this time after a small concert was staged at a banquet hall in Lakewood. Three men were arrested after a fight broke out in the parking lot. It's still not clear what they were fighting about.
