Parkway Reopens In Clark
The Garden State Parkway has reopened in both directions in Clark following a full closure due to an serious accident.
The accident in the area of exit 135 for Central Avenue is still causing delays for several miles but all northbound lanes have been re-opened and two lanes are blocked southbound.
A medical helicopter has left the roadway but first responders remain on the scene.
Helicopter shots indicate one of the cars is crushed
Southbound delays go back to exit 145 in Newark while northbound delays begin in Woodbridge.
The accident took place in the southbound lanes.
The New Jersey Turnpike is an alternative around the delays as are Routes 1 and 9.
