Paramus Police Chief Christopher Brock tells The Record of Woodland Park that officers from Paramus and Bogota executed an arrest warrant early Thursday on 43-year-old Leonard Eng of Paramus for making a terroristic threat to kill.

Brock says Eng had allegedly said previously in court that he would kill officers if they responded to his home.

It's not clear if Eng has retained a lawyer. He is being held on $50,000.

Police say they encountered Eng asleep in his home, allegedly with weapons on his bedside and under his pillow. Cops seized five long-barrel firearms, three handguns and more than 3,500 rounds of ammunition as well as assorted firearms equipment.
