JERSEY CITY — One of the displays during the annual Fleet Week events in Jersey City ended with one of the participants ending up in the hospital after his parachute failed to deploy properly, according t people at the show.

NJ.com reported an unidentified parachutist ended up in the Hudson River while his parachute ended up in a parking lot after he realized there was an issue with his equipment. The man was rescued from the water and taken to Jersey City Medical Center where his condition was unknown.
