What happens when you combine the magic of the holidays with the magic of theater?

Well, Ralphie from "A Christmas Story: The Musical" comes to your door and delivers a bit of both.

In the new short film "Ralphie's Christmas Wish," made in conjunction with the Millburn-based Paper Mill Playhouse's ongoing production of the musical (continuing through Jan.3), the theater recounts how it brought holiday cheer to supporters by fulfilling their wishes.  Ralphie had already gotten his Red Ryder, carbine action, 200-shot-range model air rifle — so it was time to bring some gifts to others.

According to the video, the Mall at Short Hills agreed to foot the bill for the presents — which meant Ralphie could provide vacuum cleaners, drone cameras, iPads and other goodies (Along with tickets) to people whose stories touched the theater's staff.
