The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled 5-4 today that it is unconstitutional to sentence juveniles to life in prison without parole.

A possible reasoning for this ruling could be that juveniles are markedly less mature than adults and thus more likely to commit crimes without realizing the magnitude of their actions.
