PA High Court Ends Life Without Parole for Teens

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled 5-4 today that it is unconstitutional to sentence juveniles to life in prison without parole.

A possible reasoning for this ruling could be that juveniles are markedly less mature than adults and thus more likely to commit crimes without realizing the magnitude of their actions. Teens could also be much more amenable to rehabilitation that adults.  How would you feel if such a ruling happened in New Jersey? Leave your comments below.
