Overturned car in South Brunswick kills man

South Brunswick police are investigating a fatal one-car accident on Route 535 early Saturday morning.

Capt. James Ryan said the 2000 Infiniti G20 overturned about 3:30 a.m. after going off Cransbury South River Road at Pleasant Hill Road on the front lawn of Consolidated Container Company.

A 26-year-old Middlesex County man was killed when he was ejected from the car and pronounced  dead at the scene according to Ryan. The man, whose identity was not disclosed by police, was the only occupant of the car.

An investigation closed ethe road, which parallels the New Jersey Turnpike, for several hours for cleanup and the investigation.
