What's winter without ice skating in the open air?

Thanks to Kushner companies, the new owners of beautiful Pier Village, the long awaited outdoor ice rink opened Thanksgiving weekend on Festival Plaza there, called Ice At The Pier. Families can skate with the waves in the background and enjoy some of the prettiest scenery on the entire Jersey Shore.

It's a dream come true for many in Monmouth County, who once tried skating on a fake snow oil slick fiberglass "rink" set up in the same spot years ago. It was a total failure and closed after one season. But this is the real thing!

Open Weekends through Presidents' Day, bring the family and enjoy. While you're there, do some shopping in some of the cool shops and boutiques, or have a meal at one of the many fine eateries at Pier Village (of course you can rent skates there, too.)
