Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk says 20-year-old De’quan Rodgers of Camden was found dead on the front porch of a Morton Street home around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

The wounded man, identified only as a 19-year-old Camden resident, was also found at the home. Authorities say he suffered multiple gunshot wounds and remained hospitalized Tuesday in critical but stable condition.

A motive for the shooting remains under investigation. It was not immediately known if either victim lived at the home where the shooting occurred.

Further details on the shooting, including how many assailants may have been involved and what type of weapon was used, were not disclosed.
