Oliver, Isabella, Noah & Skittles Need Forever Homes [NJ Pets of the Week]

NJ101.5 has partnered with local animal rescue organizations EASEL Animal Rescue League and Friends of EMAS (Edison Municipal Animal Shelter) to feature adoptable local pets in need of homes. Help us find these pets homes by sharing this information with family members and friends who may be interested in adopting a shelter pet.

Adopt Oliver

Oliver is a sweet 3-year-old male who loves attention. He is about 12 pounds and loves it when our volunteers pet him. He’s a gentle giant.

If you’re interested in meeting Oliver or fostering/adopting him, please email us at EAS@edisonnj.org. You can see more adoptable cats from Friends of EMAS here or download a PDF copy of the application form here.

Adopt Isabella

Isabella was found wandering around and has not been claimed, but it’s clear she was trained because she knows several commands.  She walks very well on a leash and is very intelligent. As is typical with German Shepherds, Isabella doesn’t like to be in her kennel. She is very high strung in her run, but calms down when she is out. More than anything, Isabella needs a home where she can relax.

If you’re interested in learning more about Isabella or to schedule a visit, email dogs@easelnj.org. Find more of EASEL’s adoptable dogs and puppies here or download a PDF copy of the application form here.

Adopt Noah

Noah is a friendly 2-year-old Puggle with a gorgeous light, brown coat. He is very friendly and engaging, and loves to play. Noah came to us because his owner has to move to a place that doesn’t allow dogs. His owner was very unhappy about having to give him up, but felt we could find him an excellent new home. Noah lived with a child and was very much loved and cared for. Noah has plenty of playful energy. He knows some commands and is very willing to learn new things.

If you’re interested in meeting Noah or fostering/adopting him, please email us at EAS@edisonnj.org. You can see more adoptable dogs from Friends of EMAS here or download a PDF copy of the application form here.

Adopt Skittles

Sweet Skittles is a super, friendly quiet girl who came to the shelter after her owner had to be hospitalized. Skittles is a young girl, spayed and current on her shots. She loves to be pet, and will show her happiness by rolling around and purring.

To schedule a visit to meet Skittles, please email kitty@easelnj.org or call 609-883-0540. You can find more of EASEL’s adoptable cats and kittens here, or download a PDF copy of the application form here.
