Ohio Man Sentenced on NJ Child Porn Charges

Federal prosecutors say an Ohio man who repeatedly mailed child porn videos to person in New Jersey has been sentenced to nearly 22 years in prison.

Andrew Cox had pleaded guilty last November to six counts of distributing child porn.

The 27-year-old Columbus resident admitted emailing a catalog listing his videos to a customer in April 2010 and mailing videos into New Jersey on six different occasions between May 2010 and June 2010. He also admitted trading child pornography videos with his New Jersey-based customer.

Under the sentence imposed Wednesday, Cox will have to serve five years of supervised release once he's freed from prison and pay $223,447 in restitution.
