HAMILTON (Mercer County) — An off-duty police officer was killed on Monday afternoon in a two-car crash, authorities confirmed.

The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office confirmed the crash happened at 4 p.m. on Nottingham Way. Casey DeBlasio, a spokesperson for the county, said no other injuries were reported in the crash.

Montgomery said the crash is being investigated by the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office Serious Collision Response team. The identity of the officer was not provided as of Monday night.
