President Barack Obama is telling union workers in Ohio that Mitt Romney would guide the nation to a
"losing season," using a sports metaphor to insist that voters should take his opponent's plan and "punt it away."

The president was marking Labor Day in union-friendly Toledo, noting that he stepped in to help rescue automakers General Motors and Chrysler in 2009.

Obama responded to a recent Romney speech, in which the GOP nominee said it was "time to get a new coach" and time for America "to see a winning season again."
