NYC Mayor DeBlasio Drops Groundhog [VIDEO]

New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio gave the crowd in Staten Island quite a scare the other day when he decided he wanted to "try" and show off the groundhog Staten Island Chuck. 

Mayor DeBlasio should probably just stick to the typical political photo ops moving forward. DeBlasio decided it would be a good idea to hold Staten Island Chuck and show him off to the crowd. The mayor's bright idea turned into an epic fail as he dropped the groundhog. Fortunately, Chuck was not hurt.

Mayor, next time, just smile and let someone else handle the animals. Chuck and his friends will be very appreciative for it.
