NY Giants Waive Hill After 3rd Suspension

Giants safety Will Hill has been waived by the team after his 6 game suspension for violating the leagues substance abuse policy. He smoked marijuana, or as he tells his friends, it was second hand smoke.

This is the third offense for the Jersey City native in three years and his future in the NFL is in doubt. What’s not in doubt is that it’s time to legalize marijuana or at least remove it from the banned substances list.

When you think about the fact that both NFL championship games were played where marijuana is totally legal, coupled with the fact that the NFL is being sued for giving players painkillers and sending them out to play, wouldn't it make much more sense to make marijuana legal?
