Join Big Joe Henry in Red Bank to kick off the season with the annual Holiday Express Concert & Town Lighting. Now in it's 24th year, Holiday Express will be rocking the streets with all of your favorite tunes plus plenty of special guests. The holiday lights will be lit for the first time this season during the concert. The Red Bank Fire Department will be on hand with free hot chocolate.

Pennsauken's 36th annual Holiday Parade will kick off at 1 pm. Sponsored by Pennsauken Township and the Pennsauken-Merchantville Area Chamber of Commerce, the parade is filled with fire engines, holiday-themed floats, and musical entertainment. This annual favorite for the young and the young at heart runs along Westfield Ave., beginning at the Pennsauken Community Recreation Facility and ending at 44th St.

Friday night Sea Isle Chamber kicks off our Holiday Extravaganza weekend with a parade from local fire companies that brings Santa to our town where he will light our tree. We have a Ice Skating rink from 4:40 - 9:30 pm with a Christmas show. Saturday is Small Business day, which we encourage everyone to Shop Locally. We also raffle off a TV. Find out how. Dickens' Days is an annual event that transforms Clinton into a Victorian Village. Visitors can expect to interact with Scrooge, Charles Dickens, and Father Christmas as they stroll through downtown Clinton entertaining shoppers. The town will be decorated for the holidays, with toy soldiers on the famous Clinton Bridge, holiday greens, and twinkling lights. Horse drawn carriage rides, in full Victorian costume, offer a glimpse into the past. Musical performances of all genres will be performed by local artists and music groups throughout the weekend. Santa's Workshop, an interactive experience for children, will be located on the terrace of the Hunterdon Art Museum – available from Dickens' Days through New Year. Santa will be at the workshop IN PERSON on Saturdays from noon – 3 pm for children to visit.

Our Polar Express Train Ride departs on weekend in December from Lehigh Junction located in the Historic Main Street area of Phillipsburg New Jersey. On the train you will re-live the experience of the little boy in The Polar Express©. The story focuses on a little boy who has been told by his friends that there is no Santa Claus. Unwilling to believe this, he lies awake in his bed on Christmas Eve, waiting for the sound of Santa's sleigh. Instead, he hears the hissing steam and squeaking metal of the Polar Express as it stops outside his window, ready to take him and other children to the North Pole. During your ride you will listen to this wonderful story, every child will be served hot chocolate and cookies ( parents who wear their PJ's also will receive chocolate and cookies) and visit with Santa. Every child will receive a very special bell from Santa. Only those who believe can hear the sound of Santa's sleigh bell, can you? Feel free to wear your pajamas!
