North Jersey Cabbie Accused of Molesting 2 Women

Bail is set at $150,000 for a livery driver in northern New Jersey accused of molesting two female passengers in his cab on separate occasions.

Riaz Malik is charged with sexual contact on a woman he was driving Dec. 23 on Interstate 80 in Rockaway Township. The woman told state police Malik stopped on the shoulder and tried to kiss her and put his hand down her shirt to fondle her.

The second woman claims Malik sexually assaulted her in the cab in Chatham Township on New Year’s Day.

The Daily Record of Parsippany reports Malik’s lawyer says his client denies both allegations.
