Trooper Jeff Flynn told the Star-Ledger that New Jersey State Police "consider the checkpoint a success." He says one in every four cars leaving the venue were stopped heading onto the southbound Garden State Parkway.

One non-DWI arrest was made of a man troopers say interfered with the checkpoint.

Concertgoers had been warned that the checkpoint would be set up via social and traditional media, warning that those who drank alcohol at the concert should have designated driver.

State Police say they'll announce if they plan checkpoints for future shows at the arts center.
