Red Bank police tell the Asbury Park Press that 70-year-old borough resident Joyce Douglas was trying to pull into a handicapped parking space when the accident occurred around 2:20 p.m. Monday. The car then jumped a curb and went through the store's front windows.

Roughly five customers were in the store at the time, along with some store staff. Douglas apparently was alone in the car.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
