No gas available at Parkway's Cheesequake Service Area

Drivers on the Garden State Parkway planning to make a fuel stop at the Cheesequake Service Area needed another plan as no fuel was available for much of the day.

According to a tweet from the Parkway, the Sunoco at the service area that serves traffic in both directions had computer issues for much of the day. Fuel was available again around 3:45 p.m.

"Sunoco is working on a fix," said the Turnpike Authority, which runs the Parkway, in a tweet.

Southbound drivers can gas up at the Colonia Service Area in Woodbridge or the Monmouth Service Area in Wall Township.
