The Ohio attorney general says the man accused of imprisoning three women in a Cleveland house for about a decade isn't linked to other crimes through a national database.

Attorney General Mike DeWine says no matches came up when Ariel Castro's DNA was compared to samples in the database on Monday.

DeWine also says no matches have been found for Castro's brothers, Pedro and Onil Castro, in similar database checks.

Police arrested the brothers after the women were freed last week, but they weren't charged in connection with the alleged kidnapping and they've been released.

Investigators say Castro kidnapped the women and held them for a decade during which he sexually assaulted them numerous times.
