Service levels will reach 96 percent when nine trains are added to the line starting Monday. Two of the trains will be electric and operate between Long Branch and New York's Penn Station.

NJ Transit spokesman John Durso Jr. tells the Asbury Park Press (http://on.app.com/WIaQ8q ) the remaining seven trains will either originate or terminate in Bay Head.

Four of those trains will resume service between Bay Head and Hoboken.

NJ Transit says the Coast Line sustained the worst damage from Sandy out of all its rail lines. Storm surge and boats damaged the Raritan River draw bridge.

Coast Line service initially resumed three weeks after the storm.
