TRENTON — The autopsy results for a woman found dead in a garbage bag in September did not provide anymore information about how the woman died.

The body of Lillian Duran, 43, was found intact in a bag on the sidewalk of a city street on the evening of Sept. 5, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said. When the body was found the county's homicide task force was assigned to the case, later identifying the body as Duran.

An autopsy was conducted by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner's Office and came back with an "undetermined" cause of death, Onofri said.

In September, a report in the Trentonian said the woman’s family believed she owed money to drug dealers.

As the investigation continues, Onofri asks anyone with information about the case to call the Mercer County Homicide Task Force at 609-989-6406 or the Trenton Police Department confidential tip line at 609-989-3663. Information can also be provided through the Trenton Crime Stoppers tip line at 609-278-8477.
