NJ woman uses fire extinguisher to kill husband, 74, police say

WILLINGBORO — A woman has been charged with beating her husband to death in their township home.

Laciana Tinsley, 42, is charged with murder after hitting her 74-year-old husband in the head "multiple times with a fire extinguisher," authorities said.  

The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office said the investigation is ongoing and that there is no known motive at this time. An autopsy is scheduled for the victim.

Tinsley was arrested and faces the murder charge, as well as one count of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. She was taken to the Burlington County Jail with a preliminary hearing to be determined.
