NJ Trooper Injured in Crash at MetLife Stadium Parking Lot
Two people, including a NJ State Trooper, were hospitalized following a crash in the parking lot of MetLife Stadium as preparations continued for tomorrow's Super Bowl.
NJ.com has reported that "The unidentified trooper was driving on Racetrack Drive within the complex when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a fence and tree and ended up near Lot P around 5:30 this morning, spokesman Sgt. Adam Grossman said."
According to NJ.com, the trooper lost control of his vehicle, although it is still unclear what made him lose control. The website also reported that: a New Jersey National Guardsman was a passenger in the vehicle and both he and the trooper sustained moderate injuries and were transported to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment, State Police said.
