NJ Transit’s Atlantic City line interrupted after bridge hit

Riders of NJ Transit's Atlantic City line will have an interruption for their trip home on Monday.

Service was suspended around noon between Cherry Hill and Philadelphia because a tractor-trailer hit the bridge over River Road in Pennsauken

"The impact requires further inspection and some remediation work. We expect the process to take several hours to complete," NJ Transit spokeswoman Lisa Torbic wrote in an email. There were no reported injuries as a result of the accident.

Bus service is being used for the duration of the closure, according to Torbic.
