NJ Transit's No. 113 Express from Dunellen was due at the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 7:39 a.m. Thursday. It didn't get there until 9:22 a.m..

NJ Transit spokeswoman Nancy Snyder says the investigation will examine all parts of the trip and appropriate action will be taken. Snyder says the agency is reaching out to passengers to apologize.

Passenger Aileen Iosso tells the Star-Ledger the bus didn't follow its usual route and even passed the bus terminal.
