NJ Transit had restored almost all weekday rail, light rail Access Link service Monday morning — but was seeing system-wide delays because of weather-related issues.

It also warned bus services would be delayed, as buses made their way through roads still covered with snow.

At around 7 a.m. Monday, most trains were experiencing 20-minute delays.

The Gladstone branch of the Morris & Essex line remained entirely shut down until Tuesday. Substitute bus service was set to operate along the Gladstone between Gladstone and Summit, making all station stops along the route, NJ Transit said. Additionally, private carrier bus service will cross-honor NJ TRANSIT rail passes along the Gladstone Branch, it said.

System-wide cross-honoring remained in effect Monday

Despite the delays, services were back to operating on a normal weekday schedule.
