Fans are expected to pack buses and trains headed for tonight and Wednesday's first two games of the NHL Eastern Conference playoff series at Madison Square Garden. “We will be monitoring ridership levels and trends very closely and will make any adjustments to meet increased demands,” spokesman John Durso Jr. told the Star Ledger.

Durso says both Penn Stations in Newark and New York are the railroad's busiest stations. Because the games take place in the evening NJ Transit should be able to easily add extra cars if necessary.
