CHERRY HILL — NJ Transit's Delair Bridge is stuck in the open position for the second time this week forcing a partial suspension of the Atlantic City line.

Service on the line was suspended between Cherry Hill and Philadelphia's 30th Street Station late on Thursday morning. PATCO was cross-honoring both NJ Transit bus and train tickets.

It's the second time this week the Atlantic City line has been suspended. It took Conrail, who is responsible for the maintenance of the 121-year-old bridge, two days to restore service on the bridge located south oft he Betsy Ross Bridge. It carries three tracks across the Delaware River between Philadelphia and Pennsauken.

Conrail has not yet returned a call seeking comment.
