A New Jersey state trooper and a woman were injured in a three-vehicle crash in Mount Olive Township Friday.

State Police Lt. Stephen Jones says the trooper was treated for a concussion and the woman sustained broken bones. Jones says neither injury appears life-threatening.

The accident occurred on Route 46 near the Budd Lake firehouse around 8:30 a.m.

The cause remains under investigation.

The patrol car went off the road while the woman’s car ended up under the axle of a work truck. The truck driver was not injured.

No names have been released.
