On September 18, troopers responded to a home on Corson Tavern Road in Dennis Township where the man told authorities that three men forced their way into his home and assaulted him. After beating the victim, the suspects stole cash and fled in a vehicle. The victim suffered lacerations to the head, a broken rib and bruises across his body.

Last Thursday, 25 year old Kayla Twyman of Ocean City was arrested. The following day, 23 year old George Poteat of Egg Harbor Township was taken into custody along with 25 year old Mark Rolls of Ocean City. Yesterday, Timothy Nixon, 25, of Ocean City turned himself in to police.

Police have determined that the suspects were acquainted with the victim and this was not a random act, but the investigation into the motive continues. All of the suspects are charged with robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and weapons offenses.
