NJ Softball Coach Charged with Credit Card Fraud
A New Jersey girls' softball coach has been arrested for allegedly using a stolen credit card to book hotel rooms for his team.
Andre Harris is a coach and manager for the South Brunswick-based N.J. Thunder softball organization, which fields teams for players aged 13 to 23.
Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffrey Soriano says a California woman contacted his office in September and said she noticed suspicious charges on her card in Florida over the summer. Soriano says the Thunder team played in a tournament in Orlando during that time.
More than $10,000 was allegedly charged to the card.
Harris faces three counts of credit card fraud and two theft charges.
A phone listing could not be found for Harris, and it was not known if he'd retained an attorney.
