Federal authorities have arrested a Princeton-area youth soccer coach after child pornography was allegedly found during a search of his home.

Jorge Roman was charged Thursday with one count of possessing images of child pornography. He made an initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Trenton where he was detained pending resolution of bail issues.

According to the U.S. attorney's office, Roman made more than 40 orders over five years for DVDs and photos that exploited nude, underage boys. The items were allegedly marked "naturist films from around the world."

U.S. postal service inspectors assisted in the investigation.

A federal public defender representing Roman didn't return an after-hours message seeking comment Thursday.

Roman faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison if convicted.
