TRENTON — The weekend snow still remains on the ground in several communities meaning a delayed start to class on Monday.

As of late Sunday night, most reports were coming from South Jersey districts and along the shore.

If you don't see your district listed check back as it could be a "game day" call by the superintendent after checking the road conditions one more time.

Meteorologist Dan Zarrow said there wasn't much melting of the snow on Sunday as temperatures didn't get out of the 20s making road salt ineffective. Overnight temperatures  will plunge to the single digits with a wind chill of -5.
