The causes getting money in the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund disbursements announced Friday include rebuilding 11 homes in Union Beach, buying groceries for homebound elderly residents of Toms River, and rental and mortgage assistance for low-income people in Ocean County.

The grants bring the total from the group chaired by Mary Pat Christie to $11 million.

The fund is planning a national dining out event on June 19 for restaurants to donate a portion of their revenue.
