NJ State Police say they are searching for a vehicle in connection with a homicide that took place in Burlington County Sunday.

According to authorities, police responded to a 911 call in Tabernacle Township, made by the victim's father at about 4:38 p.m. When authorities arrived at the victim's home, he was found lying on the floor and was unresponsive, police said in a statement.

"An autopsy today by the county medical examiner's office deemed the manner of death to be homicide. Additional details will be not be immediately available due to the ongoing investigation," police said.

Police say following the homicide, the victim's rented 2016 white Chevrolet 2500 Crew Cab pickup truck was stolen. The truck has a black utility rack affixed to its bed. In addition, there is a Hertz placard affixed to the side, and it has Colorado license plate 24363H2.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident or the stolen vehicle to call the NJ State Police Red Lion Station at 609-859-2281 or call 911. Police say anonymous tips will also be welcome.
