NJ Police Search for Two Charged With Murder
Police in central New Jersey have charged three men with murder in the death of a New Brunswick man.
The Middlesex County prosecutor's office says two of those charged remain at large in the March 1 fatal shooting of 30 year-old Rahim Fuqua.
New Brunswick residents 19 year-old Steven Perez and 21 year-old Jonathan Rodriguez, and 25 year-old Christian A. Peguero of South Brunswick have been charged with murder and weapons offenses.
Police say Peguero was wounded during the shooting. He is in custody on $1.5 million bail. It's not clear if he has a lawyer.
Perez and Rodriguez remain at large.
Investigators believe Fuqua was targeted. He was carrying a handgun when he was found on the steps of his home, where police say prior investigations have taken place.
