A self-proclaimed ‘Jersey Girl’, Heather O’Reilly was born in East Brunswick, NJ.

As a senior on the East Brunswick High School girl’s soccer team, O’Reilly was named a Parade All-American, Parade Player of the Year and the Gatorade High School National Player of the Year.

At the University of North Carolina, she lead her team to two NCAA championships in 2003 and 2006 and during her senior year, was named All-American Player of the Year.

O’Reilly first made the U.S. Women’s National Team in 2002 while she was still in high school and has been a staple on the pitch ever since. O’Reilly was a member of the 2004 and 2008 Olympic gold medal teams, as well as the 2007 and 2011 FIFA World Cup teams.

O’Reilly will be competing in her third Olympic games as a member of the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team.
