It seems the only time the lottery gets a lot of exposure and attention is when the biggest games roll over time after time, creating massive jackpots and prompting even non-players to "give their dreams a chance."

However, the Powerball and Mega Millions drawings actually occur two times every week. The Pick-6 is drawn daily, with prizes still in the millions. The Cash 5 draws a few times a week, with prizes in the hundreds of thousands.

Last night, the Cash 5 numbers completely matched a ticket sold in Salem County. The ticket hit for $270,927.

NJ Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger said the winning ticket was sold at Pennsville News Shop.

"For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $750," Hedinger added.

Thursday night's drawing also benefitted 3,482 other players, who shared $104, 178 in winnings.

It seems so simple, doesn't it?
