James Gandolfini of “The Sopranos”, former Gov. James Florio, basketball’s Patrick Ewing and NBC news anchor Brian Williams were among the 12 selected by voters out of 50 nominees who have ties to New Jersey.

Jazz trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie, The Shirelles, author Dorothy Parker and chef Alice Waters are also among the class of 2014.

Since 2008, 80 people with ties to New Jersey have been inducted into the web-based hall. They include Bruce Springsteen, Whitney Houston, Toni Morrison, Buzz Aldrin and Yogi Berra.

The induction ceremony is slated for Nov. 13 in Asbury Park.
