NJ Gets The Short End Of The Stick [POLL]

New Jersey gets no respect.

The Giants win the worlds biggest game, and it's all about New York. Forget that they practice and play here. Most of the players live here. After the celebration in Indianapolis, they flew back here. And we almost didn't have any celebrations here.

Initially Gov. Chris Christie offered a party in New Jersey, he was rebuffed. Fortunately the Giants had a change of heart, and will celebrate at Met Life Stadium today at 3.

Granted, there are few spectacles like the venerable ticker-tape parade in New York City, but much of the team's fan base is in our state.

It irked many when "Giants" was removed from their helmets and replaced with "NY." How about celebrating your home state with a double logo? "NY" on one side of the helmet, and "NJ" on the other?
