NJ entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas for the Start Something Challenge

Ready, set, pitch!

Ten entrepreneurs who work with Rising Tide Capital each pitched a business idea in order to win a ten thousand dollar prize. I'm sure you recognize Morning Drive Host Bill Spadea, he was on the panel of judges.

The "Start Something Challenge" hosted by Rising Tide Capital travels the country and landed in Jersey City Tuesday night. Rising Tide Capital helps people in the surrounding urban communities connect to resources helpful for a growing business. Brittany Garziosi from JC Oddities Market won the grand prize. With the money she will start looking for a permanent space to open a brick and mortar store.

"I'm excited to make everything that I've worked for tangible now." Garziosi said.
