This weekend we kick off our new video series in which we showcase New Jersey craft beer. For our first episode, we try River Horse's Cranberry Sour Ale, an oak-aged wheat ale that is brewed with Jersey cranberries.

I wanted to do something by River Horse to start this series as it was this brewery that introduced me to the concept of drinking locally crafted beer.

About 10 years ago, I was a promotions intern here at New Jersey 101.5 and I signed up to work an event that was taking place in Lambertville. It was a bike race that started and finished at the old River Horse brewing location on the Delaware River.

I had never heard of River Horse and I didn't even know local breweries existed. Later that week I made a point to go back and I purchased a six pack of its Double IPA. I was forever changed, and as they say, the rest is history.

I hope you enjoyed our very first episode. We had fun making it and can't wait to share all that the New Jersey craft beer scene has to offer. Cheers!
