Assemblywoman Linda Stender says she pushed back Monday's hearing after learning that the state Treasury Department wanted to send a representative to the State and Local Government committee session but could not get someone there.

The Democratic lawmaker says she intends to hold the hearing within the next 10 days.

Stender and some activists have expressed frustration that Gov. Chris Christie's administration has not made public any reports from the integrity monitors required under a law adopted last year.

The monitors are supposed to track spending of federal money passed through the state government to help with recovery from the 2012 storm.
