Coast Guard crews continue the search for a vessel that went missing Sunday off the Jersey Shore.

"Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay in Philadelphia received a mayday call on VHF marine radio channel 16 at approximately 12:45 p.m. Sunday from the fishing vessel Interlude, stating the vessel was taking on water and heading into port," the Coast Guard said in a press release Sunday.

In response, the Coast Guard 's Air Station in Atlantic City launched an MH-65 dolphin helicopter along with the Coast Guard cutter, Ibis, to begin searching the waters off the Jersey Shore for the missing boat.

"Anyone with any information regarding this active search is requested to call Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay at 215-271-4940 or on VHF marine radio channel 16," the press release states.
