NJ-born cop killed in off-duty crash in Georgia, reports say
Funeral services were held Monday morning for a New Jersey-born Georgia police sergeant killed in a motorcycle accident on Memorial Day.
Sgt. David Hough, 31, died as a result of injuries he sustained while riding a motorcycle off duty on Interstate 21 near Covington, Georgia on , according to a report by 11Alive.com in Georgia.
According to Hough's obituary on MyCentral Jersey.com, the sergeant was born in Perth Amboy and lived in Piscataway before moving to Georgia. He is survived by his parents, Monica and David Hough Sr. and a sister, Nykeesha Gratz.
