Tammy Argueta, 36, of Riverside, was seen making hand-to-hand transaction in the area of Riverside and South Hermitage avenues at about 9 a.m. Tuesday, Trenton police spokesman Lt. Stephen Varn said, according to an NJ Advance Media report. The officer suspected it might be a drug deal, and Argueta was detained and found to be in possession of two grams of crack cocaine, the article quotes Vern saying.

She also had three children in the vehicle that police say she was babysitting, according to NJ Advance Media.

The alleged dealer with whom the transaction was made, Anah Sanders, 19, of Trenton, was also arrested nearby with cash and marijuana in his possession, the article quotes police saying. The children were placed back in their mother's care, the article states.

Varn could not immediately be reached for comment.
